Thunderbird Investments is a private investment firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. We deploy long-duration capital into a focused portfolio of operating businesses, funds, and select real assets.
We are not a venture firm and we are not an institutional fund. We invest our own capital, on our own timelines, alongside founders and managers we admire. That structure lets us be patient when others can't, decisive when others won't, and quietly supportive for as long as a partnership requires.
Our work is conducted privately. We do not market our portfolio, comment on individual positions, or pursue branded visibility. We measure ourselves by the durability of the companies we back and the strength of our partnerships over decades.
